So late last night while undermining NLTT 53690 with one of our fellow CMDRS in my in excess of 20 million CR Vulture (with not enough money to re-buy because that's how I thought I rolled) and in excess of 3000 Merit points for our lovely faction (Un-delivered to BAAL!). I got "bum rushed"... Let me define Bum Rushed so those who aren't familiar with the phrase may understand... Bum Rushed - When 2 or more individuals (in this case NPCs) select and target an individual to beat up/degrade/take advantage of OR in my case blow to HIGH HEAVEN! my one and only beautifully kitted out Vulture.
Yes some may say - " But CMDR Sir Swali, after 2-3 months of playing ED you should know better" To those people I say - "Shut your dirty pie whole! I was flying by the seat of my underwear skimming the corona of your nearest gas giant collecting alien DNA samples with my butt cheeks because it makes the game that more exciting when you put all your chips in one basket then throw said basket at the biggest guy in the room. When asked why? I shout YOLO! while slapping him in his face while giving his really hot girlfriend a wet kiss... Why? WHY YOU SAY?, BECAUSE THAT'S JUST HOW I ROLL!
I'm sure by now you've realized that what i've done is probably not the best thing to do... So the moral of the story young CMDRS is... "Don't write cheques with your mouth that your ass cant cash..."
AND - If you see a MK III cobra flying the skies with a pissed of CMDR in the pilot seat pulling the finger at you in your Python/Vulture/Anaconda/Imperial Clipper etc... Smile and wave boys, just smile and wave.

Sir Swall Bad news my friend. But fear not your fellow knights will not let you fall into oblivion. Help and assistance will be provided to get you back in the hunting seat. I know the feeling as having spent the week successfully hunting Pirate scum I dropped into a RES for a change, shot the wrong ship and promptly got my Python down to 20% before jumping out! A close call as I only had 1 re-buy in the bank. It can happen to us all and quicker than you think too.
Fly safe Pierre

Always remember you can sell parts of your ship off that may grant you the ability to keep it after a nasty spill. You don't need that supped up fuel scoop or A class interdictor as much as your pretty guns and power structure. That way you can hit the local systems for those foolish enough to cross your path and get your replacement parts back in no-time.
